This notice does not pertain to the Brown County Courthouse or the Circuit Court System.  If you have questions or business with these entities, please contact the appropriate number using this guide (https://www.browncountywi.gov/departments/circuit-court/general-information/telephone-numbers/).

Brown County reminds everyone that if you are coughing or sick, or otherwise exhibiting symptoms, please remain home and do not come to county facilities. In addition, we encourage the practice of social distancing. This means avoiding ‘close contact’ with people who are sick – ‘close contact’ means coming within 6 feet of an individual. State and local officials based on CDC and DHS guidance, as well as the scope of the outbreak will guide our decisions about the implementation of additional community measures.

Brown County Veterans' Memorial Complex

Brown County Veterans' Memorial

Brown County is currently constructing a $93 million, state-of-the-art Expo Center directly across the street from Lambeau Field, home to the NFL’s Green Bay Packers. It is one of the busiest corners in the northern half of Wisconsin. This facility features 127,000 square feet of clear span space for hosting hundreds of attractions and events annually, building upon Brown County and Greater Green Bay’s robust tourism economy. In 2018, travelers to our community spent almost $700 million, leading to business sales of over $1.15 billion and employment of more than 12,000 people.

The new Expo Center is expected to include portable seating for events like concerts, family shows, and sporting events, and other characteristics necessary to host those events. It is expected to also include a multi-purpose pre-function space with opportunities for outdoor event/exhibit space. The facility will also include supporting event and administrative space, such as breakout rooms, event/promoter offices, storage, box office, restrooms, loading docks and covered bus bays.

One major part of the new Expo Center will be an interactive display honoring veterans in Brown County. This will include digital boards and other unique features in order to properly honor and pay respect to the veterans for which this complex was named.
