June 6, 2022 - Brown County Now at a Low COVID-19 Community Level
As of June 3, 2022, Brown County shifted from a medium to a low COVID-19 community level. This means that a decrease in both cases and hospitalizations has occurred according to the CDC data: COVID-19 Community Levels | CDC.
CDC COVID-19 community levels are based on three key metrics:
- New COVID-19 Cases
- New COVID-19 Hospital Admissions
- Percentage of Inpatient Hospital Beds Used by COVID-19 Patients
Along with ensuring that you are up-to-date on COVID-19 vaccines, residents are encouraged to take additional precautions to stay healthy by:
- Getting tested for COVID-19 if you have symptoms or were exposed to someone with COVID-19
- Staying home when you are sick
- Seeking treatment if you are at high risk or experiencing severe illness
