Campgrounds are open. Bay Shore campground is currently experiencing construction on site with the replacement of all restrooms and shower buildings.  Please excuse our mess as progress is occuring.

The last night to camp within our Brown County campgrounds is scheduled for Saturday, October 26, 2024. 
Campgrounds will closed for the season on Sunday, October 27, 2024.

Bay Shore Campground 
Camper in campsite with camping chairsBay Shore Park is located along the bay at 5637 Sturgeon Bay Rd, New Franken WI approximately 15 miles northeast of Green Bay on State Highway 57, and 30 minutes from Sturgeon Bay (Door Co).  



All new restroom and shower buildings throughout the campground, completed in 2024. This project will include a complete tear-down and replacement of all buildings.  This will not only make your camping stay more enjoyable but will create efficiencies for staff cleaning and energy usage in your parks!


 
  • 107 wooded campsites

  • 2 group sites (Up to 20 individuals and no more than 8 tents. Campers, motor homes, and pop-ups are permitted on group sites).

Amenities include:Bay Shore Park campsites are available both; at a first-come, first-serve basis and online reservations.  All even numbered water and electric sites (2-88 and 266) are available at a first-come, first-serve basis; the remainder of the sites at Bay Shore are online reservable only (this includes the odd numbered water and electric sites (1-87), the primitive sites (200-214) and the group sites (300-301).

Online reservations for Bay Shore Campground can only be made when meeting the below requirements: 
A tent or camper must be present on the first night of all first-come, first-serve site reservations.

Brown County Fairgrounds
Campers parked on in campsitesThe Fairgrounds is located at 1500 Fort Howard Avenue, off Ashland Avenue in the City of De Pere.  A great camping location for larger motorhomes and RVs looking to stay close to the city (tent camping is not allowed without special permit). Camping is permitted on the midway during available dates.  When special events are scheduled at the Fairgrounds, we will be unable to accept campers.  Reservations are not accepted, campsites at the Brown County Fairgrounds are available at a first-come, first-serve basis only.  
  • 46 campsites (no fire rings onsite)
  • Pets are accepted in the campground only and must be on a leash at all times

Reforestation Camp Campground 
The campground is located at 4418 Reforestation Road, Green Bay WI 54313. Situated in the woods of this 1400 acre park, the entrance road is gravel and located in the Upper Parking lot - before going down the hill to the NEW Zoo.  Enter the Upper Parking lot and drive to the road on the southeast corner of the lot.  There is a 14' clearance when entering the site. While relaxing with us make sure to explore the hiking, biking, and horseback riding trails.  The NEW Zoo & Adventure Park is less than a half-mile walk from the campground. 
This campground requires online reservations only. Reservations may be made day-of and up to 364 days in advance.



 
  • 3 sites – walk-in tent (sites are an approximate 100ft walk from parking lot and the three sites are approximately 60ft from each other)
  • 1 site – group camp (up to 20 individuals and no more than 8 tents)
  • 6 sites – allow horses, but horses not required to reserve
  • 24 sites – water /30 amp
  • 15 sites – full hookups: 50 amp/sewer connection/water
  • 8 sites – no hookups
Amenities include:
  • Access to bike and horse trails directly from campground: daily or annual use fees are required for these trails
  • Walking distance to the NEW Zoo and Adventure Park
  • Dogs on leashes are allowed within the designated campground and trail (registered campers only)

Online reservations for the Reforestation Camp Campground can only be made when meeting the below requirements:
  • Reservations made Sunday – Thursday (weekday) requires 1 or more nights
  • Reservations made Friday – Saturday (weekend) require 2 or more nights
  • Reservations made on Memorial, Labor, and Independence Day (holiday) require 3 or more nights

  • Rustic and tent sites (no hookups): $22/night
  • Water & Electric: $32/night
  • Full hookups: $40/night

Brown County General Campground Rules:
  • Reservations are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Firewood may only be brought in from Brown County
    • Firewood is sold at Bay Shore and Reforestation Camp
  • Quiet hours are 10:00 p.m.  – 8:00 a.m. No setup, no generators, no radios, or other loud voices or noises are allowed during this time.
  • No fireworks allowed.
  • Visitors of registered campers must leave the park before 10:00 p.m., and not allowed back in the campground until 8:00 a.m.
  • A tent or camper must be present on the first night of any first-come, first-serve stay.
  • Tent camping is not allowed at the Brown County Fairgrounds.
  • Check out time is 2:00 p.m.
  • Only one camping party per site. No more than 5 non-family members per site.
  • No more than two vehicles allowed per site. One camper, one vehicle and one boat would be allowable at one site.
  • No gas or electric golf carts or other off-road vehicles allowed.
  • No cutting of living trees, limbs or brush.
  • Camping is allowed for no more than 21 consecutive days.  You must vacate any Brown County campground for fourteen (14) days before returning for an additional 21 days.
  • RV units must be registered and shall bear a label, symbol, or other identifying mark of a nationally recognized testing laboratory, inspection agency, or other organization which evaluates products to nationally recognized standards NFPA 1192 or ANSI 119.5. 
  • Aggressive pets, determined by County Officials, are not allowed and staff may remove any camper at any time an aggressive pet is found on park property.  Aggressiveness may be determined by barking at strangers, growling, or other means.
  • Keep your campsite clean and make sure to remove all trash from campsites and firepit ring before departing.
