Brown County Park is home to the Brown County Dog Park, with special fenced areas designed for off-leash use. Pet owners may also walk their dogs on-leash through the rest of the park. The Dog Park is open year-round from 8:00 AM to sunset.
The off-leash fenced area is ~ 4 acres in size and includes a small dog portion as well as an all dog portion. The fence area access points has changed slightly - but look for the double-gate system right off the north end of the parking lot. The fence material is a 4-foot high welded wire steel fence that is secured close to the ground - so the canine users should be free to run the area without getting out.
