Location: Barkhausen Waterfowl Preserve - 2024 Lakeview Drive, Suamico WI This program (lead by Matthew Normansell) will cover some of the top common edible and medicinal plant and mushrooms species that can be found in Wisconsin. You will gain hands on experience identifying plants and mushrooms from their look-a likes, get tips on how to harvest both ethically and sustainably, and get ideas on how to use these wild foods in your diet.

Location: Barkhausen Waterfowl Preserve - 2024 Lakeview Drive, Suamico WI Staff from Barkhausen and the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary are teaming up for a special 2-hour hawk program. Registered participants will learn about fall hawk migration, enjoy a naturalist-led hike searching for migrating birds, and even get up close and personal with some live hawks.
