There are two main ways to receive child support payments:
When the first payment is made by the payor and received by the Wisconsin Support Collections Trust Fund (WI SCTF), you will be enrolled in the debit card program, if you are not already enrolled in direct deposit. A letter will be mailed to the address on file with Child Support and the debit card will be issued 5-10 business days after the letter is received.
Payments are processed through the WI SCTF and sent to the debit card or banking institution within 2-3 business days. Major holidays can affect these timelines.
