If you've been convicted of an Operating While Intoxicated (OWI) offense, part of your court order will include a requirement to complete a Wisconsin Alcohol Impaired Driver Assessment, this being different to a traditional alcohol and other drug assessment. Intoxicated Driver Program
Once the assessment is completed, you will receive a driver safety plan. If that driver safety plan requires you to go through treatment, there are a number of agencies to choose from. If you have insurance coverage, you may choose from providers that accept your coverage. If you do not have insurance coverage, many of the agencies offer services for fees that may be set based on your income.
