The words Home, Community and Education indicate our dedication to strengthening families, communities and continuing education. The home without walls symbolizes a welcome to all who would like to join the organization.The Brown County Association for Home and Community Education is a nonprofit, educational, and service organization. Membership is open to all individuals without regard to race, sex, color, ethnic background, residence, or enconomic circumstances.Explanation of Organization -
The Brown County Association for Home and Community Education (BCHCE) is part of the Wisconsin Association for Home and Community Education which is a nonprofit educational organization comprised of member associations in 57 counties in Wisconsin. The organization is unique in that the members extend the information they receive from the University faculty and other reliable sources to the members and community. BCHCE offers many opportunities for lifelong learners to continue to grow and learn. Educational programs are offered in the following areas:

- Food and Nutrition
- Cultural Arts
- International Study
- Environment
- Health and Safety
- Family Financial Management
