Brown County regulates zoning for:

Shoreland, wetland, and floodplain zoning in the unincorporated areas within Brown County. In addition, the Village of Bellevue contracts with Brown County Zoning to regulate these areas within their municipality. This interactive map (click here) will help you determine whether a property includes shoreland zoning or floodplain areas. If you have questions about shoreland, floodplain, or wetland zoning contact the Brown County Zoning office.
Airport Zoning Districts. Use this map to view airport zoning. You can read more about airport zoning in Brown County Code Chapter 24.

Brown County does not regulate general zoning (also known as Land Use Zoning; i.e. residential, commercial, etc). Instead, each community has adopted general zoning to lands within their municipal boundaries. Click the links below to guide you to the municipal zoning or community development office:
