The Brown County Board of Supervisors adopted by ordinance the Brown County 2040 Comprehensive Plan on March 15, 2023, following three years of work on the update. The plan replaces the Brown County Comprehensive Plan - A Vision for Great Communities that was adopted by ordinance in 2007. The 2040 plan is also available in indiviual chapters below.
