
- Schools will be contacted by BCPH or a community partner to schedule a vision screening
- Screenings will take place September-May of each school year
- Prevent Blindness-Wisconsin guidelines are followed
- All screeners are certified through Prevent Blindness-Wisconsin every 3 years
- A letter with screening results will be sent home with students who do not pass the screening recommending follow up care with an eye professional
- A Welch Allyn Autorefractor Spot Vision Screener or a Good Lite EyE Check Book is used to screen students

- A Snellen (Sloan) Eye Chart is used to screen students

- Can be screened upon request if concerns have been identified.
