Copies of Birth, Death, Marriage, Divorce and Domestic Partnership Certificates can be obtained at the Register of Deeds Office.

Statewide issuance of vital records allows any Register of Deeds office in the State of Wisconsin to issue records of birth, death, marriage and divorce from all Wisconsin counties. However, not all vital records will be eligible for statewide issuance.

Records included for statewide issuance and dates are as follows:

• Marriage records October 1, 1907 to present
• Divorce records January 1, 2016 to present
• Tribal marriage and divorce January 1, 2016 to present
All records that do not fall within the parameters above can be obtained by the County Register of Deeds where the event occurred or by the State Vital Records Office.
