Property tax overpayments, resulting from being paid by check, that are greater than ten dollars will be refunded by check within thirty days of the date of receipt.
For an overpayment of $10.00 or less, a refund must be specifically requested in writing and signed, within 60 days of the date of the original payment.
The written request for the return of the overpayment, shall be made to the Brown County Treasurer in Room 160 at 305 Walnut Street, Green Bay or mailed to PO Box 23600, Green Bay, WI 54305-3600 or by email with the attachment to BC_Treasurer@browncountywi.gov.
