We are pleased to offer free admission to Brown County residents from 9am to 8pm the first Wednesday of the month.  

Not only is admission FREE all day, so is a take home project we will be offering from noon to 7:00 p.m. Check out the museum's exhibit Spectacular Science, and use the power of science to make colorful crystals!  This kit includes everything you need to make a project at home except boiling water.

Barkhausen Adventure Camp offers a jam-packed day filled with Outdoor Challenges and Exploration!  Campers will hunt for wetland creatures, work together in teams to complete a challenge course and partake in a survival mission!  This program is created for kids ages 10-13 and requires online pre-registration.

Then working as a group with other participants to engineer and build a city - grocery, hospitals, post office, restaurants, schools, etc. The only limit in this city is the imaginations of the participants!
