- Children Only Shop - Dec. 1, 2021 @ 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm
This whimsical re-creation of the H.C. Prange’s holiday experience is back for its eleventh year in a row! Children ages 4-12 are invited to purchase from an assortment of holiday gifts for $3 each and have them gift-wrapped before grown-ups can sneak a peek. Entrance to the Children Only Shop is included with museum admission.

We are pleased to offer free admission to Brown County residents from 9am to 8pm the first Wednesday of the month.  

Not only is admission FREE all day, Bruce the Spruce will be awake 5:00-7:00, and the Children Only Shop will be open 4:00-7:00.
- International Film Series: Jasper Jones - Dec. 1, 2021 @ 7:00 pm
Jasper Jones is a coming of age story about Charlie Bucktin, a bookish boy of 14. On the night that Jasper Jones, the town's mixed-race outcast shows him the dead body of young Laura Wishart, Charlie's life is changed forever. Entrusted with this secret and believing Jasper to be innocent, Charlie embarks on a dangerous journey to find the true killer.

All films are free and open to the public and are unrated but intended for a mature audience. Due to social distancing requirements, capacity is limited to 65 people. Face coverings are encouraged for both vaccinated and unvaccinated guests.

Bruce the Spruce, the lovable talking Christmas tree who once chatted with holiday shoppers at Prange’s, is now at the Museum to visit with guests as they enjoy Holiday Memories of Downtown Green Bay.

This documentary, "Fiddlin' Andy the Cyclone Kid" was developed by filmmakers Jim Parish and Lou Seiler through years of research and the use of archival audio, film, video recordings, interviews, still photos, newspaper clips, home movies, and other memorabilia. The film is narrated solely by fellow musicians, musicologists, friends and family members who were involved first hand in Andy's life and career.

Film Showing starts at 1pm in the Neville Theater and is included with Museum admission.

The animated figures that once adorned the H.C. Prange’s department store windows have found new life in Holiday Memories of Downtown Green Bay, but their care and upkeep require more than a Christmas miracle. Meet the man who will oversee their triumphant return and hear how he will keep these relics of seasons past present!

Location: Barkhausen Waterfowl Preserve - 2024 Lakeview Drive, Suamico WI
Your chance to enjoy the outdoors doesn't end with the arrival of cold weather. Registered participants can stop in anytime between 5pm and 8pm to enjoy Barkhausen's Self-Guided Candlelit Hike. The entire family, including leashed dogs, are able to enjoy the 1.25 mile stroll through Barkhausen's illuminated trail that winds through the woods during this event. 

Pre-registration is required as space is limited. Tickets are purchased online only (unfortunately we are not taking walk-ins for this event). Cost is $5/person (2 and under are free). Purchases are final, no refunds unless cancelled due to weather. 

We will have snowshoe rentals (weather dependent) onsite on a first-come, first-serve basis. Rental
fees are $3/child and $5/adult and are not included in event fee.
