| Location: Neville Public Museum International Film Series: Father’s Day (Kivu Ruhorahoza, Rwanda 2022) Wednesday, March 4 - 7:00 pm Three intertwined narratives deliver stories of liberation and rebirth in which the protagonists are taking a stand against patriarchy head on. Zaninka is a married woman grieving a lost child. Mukobwa is a girl from a wealthy family expected to donate a lung to her sick father. Kadogo is a kid trying to grow up on the streets of Kigali despite his abusive dad. All films are free and open to the public and are unrated but intended for a mature audience. |
