Brown County Parks is honoring all veterans and active-duty military members with free gun and archery sight in at the Brown County Rifle Range on Monday, November 11, 2024, from 8am to 3:45pm.  Please present your military ID to staff.

- Veterans Day at the Zoo - Nov. 11, 2024 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

​In honor of Veterans Day on Monday, November 11th, the NEW Zoo & Adventure Park will once offer free admission* to the NEW Zoo and to the Neil Anderson Canopy Tour for veterans, active-duty military personnel, and their immediate families. Free coffee or hot chocolate and popcorn will also be provided to our guests of honor while supplies last in the Mayan Restaurant.

The United Patriotic Society of Green Bay invites you to attend the Veterans Day Ceremony at the Neville Public Museum.

This free event is hosted by the American Legion Post 11
Presentation will conclude with Honor Rifle Guard firing volleys and TAPS.

Come and thank our local veterans. The ceremony is honoring all who served.

Bruce the Spruce, the lovable talking Christmas tree who once chatted with holiday shoppers at Prange’s, is now at the Museum to visit with guests as they enjoy Holiday Memories of Downtown Green Bay.

Take home Bruce's story with 2 for $5 coloring books at the front desk!

This whimsical re-creation of the H.C. Prange’s holiday experience is back for its twelfth year in a row! Children ages 4-12 are invited to purchase from an assortment of holiday gifts for $4 each and have them gift-wrapped before grown-ups can sneak a peek. Entrance to the Children Only Shop is included with museum admission.

The NEW Zoo will be open for regular hours on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 28th. Tickets will be available at the door or can be purchased online in advance of your visit. The Neil Anderson Canopy Tour will be closed. The Mayan Restaurant will be closed, but snacks and drinks will be available for purchase in the Paws & Claws Gift Shop.

The NEW Zoo & Adventure Park is celebrating the holidays with Merry & Bright Canopy Lights events. The Neil Anderson Canopy Tour is beautifully decorated with thousands of twinkling lights that guests can enjoy during extended evening hours. Experience the tranquil winter atmosphere illuminated by colorful lights. Hot cocoa and s’mores will be available for purchase at the Adventure Park’s Base Camp Building each evening, adding to the festive experience.
