The plot follows a pig farmer, a stubborn beauty salon owner whose home is being bought by a developer, an American architect working on that development, a sensitive busboy, and a disenchanted rich girl whose lives converge as they navigate personal, financial, and ethical struggles in a rapidly changing China Screenings begin at 7:00pm in the Neville Auditorium. This celebration takes place ahead of Hmong-Lao Veterans Day on May 14, a Wisconsin-recognized day honoring the thousands of Hmong-Lao veterans who bravely fought alongside the United States during the Vietnam War and now call Wisconsin home.
