Brown County Main Jail

 The Brown County Jail currently houses 11 pods broken down into:

• 5 indirect pods
• 4 direct supervision pods
• 1 juvenile pod
• 1 inmate worker pod 
• 1 booking/holding pod
• 1pod added in 2021-a multi class 128 bed pod

The jail has approximately 160 sworn and non-sworn employees including:

• Captain
• Correctional officers
• Intake corporals
• Housing corporals
• Training corporal
• Juvenile superintendent
• Lieutenants (watch commanders, security Lieutenant and work release lieutenant)
• Accountants
• Receptionists
• EMP records specialist
• Jail Chaplain- volunteers at the jail and supports the staff and inmates.
