Required Education & YQCA Meeting for youth (grades 3-13) interested in participating in the Brown County Fair Livestock and Dairy Auction

Informational Meeting/ In person YQCA training/ Educational Event/Proficiency Contest
Schedule for Day:
- 7:30 AM First Time Auction Participant Meeting
- 7:30 AM-8:00 AM Registration
- 8:00 AM Informational Meeting (All Participant Meeting)
- 8:45 AM -9:45 AM YQCA Training
- 10:00 AM-10:15 AM Proficiency Contests (All Species)
- 10:15-11:15 Educational Workshops
- 11:15-12:30 Roskom Meats Travel and Tour Pending (Transportation needed)

An Instructional video on how to register is linked here. EACH participant must register individually. Families CANNOT register as a group.
All requirements and directions needed to be auction eligible are located in the Auction Portal. Students/Parents can access the 2023 auction portal through the Brown County Fair Website Exhibitor Page, beginning January 21st at the Informational Meeting.
All questions about the auction eligibility process will be answered at our event on January 21st. There will not be a make-up date for this event. Students unable to attend the day must complete the online YQCA and a different educational event option, listed within the portal.
All proficiency contests (beef, poultry, sheep, swine, rabbit and dairy) will take place during this event.
