June 3, 2023 - Green Schools Rock Summer 2023 Classes
Green Schools Rock is a free, inclusive program that is committed to helping schools provide the healthiest learning environment possible by shaping kids to be green leaders in their schools and communities.
Classes will grow your child's knowledge of environmental issues and how they can play an important role in helping to be a part of the solution. Topics will include issues like: Air quality, Climate Change, Recycling, Water Literacy and Plastic Pollution. Classes are student-led, meaning we will always learn about what is meaningful and interesting to the student. Every class will contain a creative hands on project anything from how to make your own paper to creative upcycled projects.
There will be two in-person classes per week geared toward youth in 4th through 6th grade. Class size ranges from 3 to a maximum of 10. Classes are free and will be meeting at the Kress Library: 333 N Broadway, De Pere, WI 54115.
