Wisconsin 4-H’s State Arts teams, now available for grades 8-13! Apply in 4-H Online.
4-H Drama Company
- Create and perform original stage production
- Roles for actors, director assistants, and stage technicians
- Build lifelong connections with youth from across the state!
- Must be mature and responsible, with strong theater art skills preferred
Drama Company Youth Position Description
4-H Art Team
- Create themed artwork, curate exhibition
- Experience in any medium is welcome!
- College-level education led by professional artist
- Must be mature and responsible, and must have strong visual arts skills
Art Team Youth Position Description
Required availability for each team:
- State Teams Planning Weekend in April 2023 (Upham Woods)
- Summer Academy Event in June 2023The application deadline for each state team is January 15th, 2023.

Financial assistance is available for registration – Cost should not be a barrier to applying – please reach out to your local county 4-H educator and/or WI 4-H Associate Director, Jessica Jens (jessica.jens@wisc.edu), to ask about financial support through scholarship funds.
These programs have always been incredibly enriching and rewarding, leaving a lifetime impact on past members. State Teams provide 4-Hers with the opportunity to connect with other creatives outside their home county, and help build their applications and resumes for life beyond 4-H.
