June 9, 2022 - Brown County Now at a High COVID-19 Community Level

As of 6/9/22, Brown County has moved to a "high" COVID-19 community level and residents are encouraged to follow CDC guidelines for high community levels:

Wear a mask indoors in public
Stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccines
Get tested if you have symptoms
Additional precautions may be needed for people at high risk for severe illness

CDC COVID-19 community levels are based on three key metrics:

New COVID-19 cases
New COVID-19 hospital admissions
Percentage of inpatient hospital beds used by COVID-19 patients

Along with ensuring that you are up-to-date on COVID-19 vaccines, residents are encouraged to take additional precautions to stay healthy by:

Getting tested for COVID-19 if you have symptoms or were exposed to someone with COVID-19
Staying home when you are sick
Seeking treatment if you are at high risk or experiencing severe illness
