March 15, 2023 - Brown County Seed Library Launch Party
The March 4th Brown County Seed Library Launch Party was a huge success!
More than 3000 seed packets were distributed, with more than 700 adults and kids in attendance!
If you missed the event, that's okay! The Brown County Seed Library is currently restocking their supply to continue distributing seeds to the community on a first-come basis as supplies last.

What is the Brown County Seed Library?
The Brown County Seed Library will be a curated collection of seeds – primarily edible plants – that are suited for success in our Northeastern Wisconsin growing region. These seeds will be available free of charge to anyone interested in planting vegetables, fruits and pollinator-friendly plants. The first year will focus on getting seeds into the hands of local growers of all ages. Educational programs and future initiatives will encourage seed-saving techniques to replenish the collection.
The Seed Library Mission: “Through local partnerships, the Brown County Seed Library provides education, encouragement, resources, and seeds to all community members to protect the current and future food supply. The Seed Library fosters self-reliance and empowers individuals to grow nutritious food and complementary plants that support pollinators.
