January 25, 2023 - NWTC Offers Farm Machinery/Tractor Safety Classes (youth 12-16)
Farm Machinery / Tractor Safety Classes are available through Northeast WI Technical College, with location and date options in the Spring and Summer of 2023.
Primarily ages 12-16
SPRING 2023 DATES:
- NWTC Oconto Falls: April 11, 13, 18, 20 | 4:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
- NWTC Luxemburg: March 27 - 31 | 4:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
- Shawano: June 5-8
- Luxemburg: June 8, 9, 12, 13
- Sturgeon Bay: June 15, 16, 19, 20
- Green Bay: June 19-22
- Safe operation and maintenance of farm machinery including skid steers and tractors over 20 horsepower
- Follow rules of the road for machinery and tractor safety
- Apply emergency first aid training
- Handle agriculture fires and extinguishers
