FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Down By The Shore exhibition opens Saturday!

Green Bay, WI---August 4, 2023--- From personal reflections and observations to memories of special times spent Down By The Shore, these 23 fiber art pieces from 17 regional artists showcase a wide, rich variety of subjects and personal interpretation of the exhibit’s theme.

Additionally, they feature an extensive array of quilting and fiber art embellishment techniques, unique materials, and construction methods to illustrate and explain their chosen themes. Enjoy dreamy under sea allusions, critters that frequent the shore, flip flops, sand, rocks, and shells that make these quilts shine.

The Fiber Artisans of Northeast Wisconsin are a diverse group of women artists who express their creativity by exploring, developing, and sharing their love of fiber arts. They seek to elevate the level of their work through professionally led workshops as well as member driven learning opportunities. As an inclusive, nonprofit, local group, they welcome anyone who shares the love of working with fiber to join for inspiration, education, artistic connections, fellowship, and fun.

Down By The Shore is on display at the Neille Public Museum through September 24, 2023.
