Green Bay, WI—January 20, 2023— Since 1995, Brown County students have been challenged to paint, draw, or draft a piece of creative writing celebrating a theme inspired by the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
This year’s theme is “Reaching for the Mountaintops… How do we get there?” Exhibiting now at the Neville Public Museum are the award-winning works of creative writing and illustration by 21 Kindergarten through 12th grade students from Brown County representing 9 area schools.
This celebration is organized collaboratively representatives of Greater Green Bay Community Foundation, Humana, St. Norbert College, NWTC, UW-Green Bay, U.S. Bank, Wisconsin Public Service, Green Bay Packers Give Back, Green Bay Schools, The Privilege Institute, Bellin Health and Lovin The Skin I'm In.
Reaching for the Mountaintops… How do we get there? is on display through March 5, 2023.
