May 20, 2022 - Sound! Exhibition opens Saturday
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Sound! Exhibition opens Saturday
Green Bay, WI---May 20, 2022---Sound! Opening on Saturday, May 21, 2022.
Bam! Bang! Boom! Sound is all around us. From the croak of a frog to the latest music hit. Explore how sound is made, how it moves, and how we hear.
Sound! is an internally created, family-friendly exhibition featuring over sixty historical artifacts from the Neville Public Museum Collection and ten hands-on interactive stations. The hands-on stations feature a pipe organ, a sound laser, and an Oscylinderscope where you can explore how strings behave when they vibrate and make sound.
Museum visitors will examine how sound is created by vibrations and moves in waves. They will get the opportunity to explore sounds in nature, and discover how we can use technology to create and hear sound as well.

Sound! Is on display May 21 through October 16, 2022.
