Green Bay, WI—September 8, 2021—To complement the exhibition Spirited: Prohibition in America, The Neville Public Museum is pleased to offer two custom programs to discover more about this tumultuous time in American history, when flappers and suffragists, bootleggers and temperance lobbyists, and legends, such as Al Capone and Carry Nation, took sides in this battle against the bottle.
 
A SPIRITED EVENING AT THE NEVILLE PUBLIC MUSEUM
Tuesday, September 28 - 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Join museum staff, local history experts, and a panel of beer, wine, and spirits producers as they discuss the history of Prohibition in our region and the beverage industry today!  Admission includes samples of locally produced beverages and a tour of our new exhibit, Spirited: Prohibition in America.
Registration is required. $12 for each Neville Public Museum member | $15 for each Non-member

NEVILLE SODA SERIES: ICE CREAM SODA - ROOT BEER FLOAT
Saturday, October 2 - 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
Bring the whole family and learn how to make delicious natural soda at the Neville Public Museum. These hands-on workshops are fun and educational. Learn about how soda is made and how you can make it at home. As a bonus, you’ll get to walk away with a 16 oz. bottled soda per person! This fall, we're making Root Beer Floats! Learn how to make the Root Beer in class, taste test it in a Root Beer Float, and take a 16 oz. bottle to enjoy at home! Registration is required. $8 for each Neville Public Museum member | $10 for each Non-member
