FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Youth Art Month Exhibit now open at the Neville Public Museum

Green Bay, WI---January 6, 2022---In partnership with the Wisconsin Art Education Association experience over 120 creative works of art by students in grades K through 12 from nineteen counties in Northeast Wisconsin.

This multi-media exhibit, sponsored by the Wisconsin Art Education Association, highlights Youth Art Month, a national celebration sponsored by The Council for Art Education.

“One of the Neville’s guiding principles is ‘bridging communities, connecting generations’ and it’s a pleasure to see such outstanding work from so many of our local schools created by talented young artists” says Ryan Swadley, the museum’s educator.  “By hosting shows like this, we are supporting the next generation of artists in northeastern Wisconsin and providing a space for their friends and family to see their work showcased for the public to enjoy.”

The annual celebration emphasizes the value of art education for all children and encourages support for quality art programs in Wisconsin schools. Selected works from this exhibit will move on to the state exhibit in Madison.

This art exhibit will be on display through March 6, 2022.
