Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Services
The Brown County Community Treatment Center provides substance abuse treatment that focuses on establishing and maintaining an individual’s recovery from substance abuse and on preventing relapse. Our facility can assist with intake, assessment, or referral for adult (male and female) residents of Brown County.
Our primary focus is a combination of mental health and substance abuse treatment services, available for:
- Individuals with substance abuse issues
- Individuals with both mental health concerns & substance abuse issues

Assessment and pre-treatment services include:
- Screening for substance abuse
- Screening for mental health disorders
- Comprehensive substance abuse assessment or diagnosis
- Comprehensive mental health assessment or diagnosis
- Outreach to persons in the community who may need treatment
- Interim services for clients when immediate admission is not possible
If you've been convicted of an Operating While Intoxicated (OWI) offense, part of your court order will include a requirement to undergo an alcohol and other drug assessment. Click here for more information about OWI assessments and services available.

INPATIENT Care and Residential Treatment:
Brown County Health and Human Services can help to facilitate detox and/or AODA residential treatment. Members of our staff complete screenings at our offices and can provide a referral to an inpatient treatment facility.
